POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It feels crazy to say, but after five incredible years I have wrapped up with the legends at @wearepead after landing an incredible new opportunity. ❤️

It’s impossible to pick a favourite moment or campaign, whether it was working on leading lifestyle, beauty and FMCG brands (Elizabeth Arden, Arnott’s, Nespresso, PUMA, Sealy and Jeuneora to name a few), or returning the official Guinness World Records title for Largest Haka home to Aotearoa for good! Ultimately it was the people that made my last half decade so career-defining, and I’m grateful for you all!!

A special shout-out has to go to my beloved music clients, anyone who knows me knows that music has my heart (especially rock/metal!). It was an honour to manage media for the Aotearoa Music Awards for the last five years (spending this year as a Project Lead omg!), all in the name of supporting our epic local talent to raise profiles and tell meaningful artist stories. @aotearoamusicawards 🖤

Helping to get my dear friends @shepherdsreign and @alienweaponry to play Eden Park, and supporting @iamjoellittle with the launch of @bigfan_nz to support up and coming local talent will also forever be career highlights!

This morning I started my new role as a Senior Account Director at @fleishmanhillardnz, taking care of my darling friend @_emilygeorgia’s clients while she grows her family. Chat soon on Samsung, Google and Booking.com, y’all! 💖

Shepherds Reign - Le Manu (2023)

SPOTIFY & YOUTUBE

“Le Manu” is a Polynesian metal single by the South Auckland, New Zealand-based band Shepherds Reign. While the track originally found viral fame as an independent digital single on December27, 2019, it received its major studio album distribution on August25, 2023, as the second track on their highly acclaimed sophomore full-length project, Ala Mai.
“Le Manu” is highly celebrated as one of the very first heavy metal songs sung entirely in the Samoan language. The track acts as a monumental cultural bridge, seamlessly fusing the aggressive vocal delivery and roaring double-bass rhythms of modern thrash/groove metal with the ancient spirit, pride and war chants of Pacific Island heritage. The song was a major milestone for the band, earning them nominations for Best Pacific Song and Best Pacific Group, making them the first heavy metal act ever to reach the finals at the New Zealand Pacific Music Awards.

Been having a great time this last month. So many talented people making noise. Drums, guitars, bass, vocals, choir, mixing and mastering, and even glockenspiel thrown in for good measure.
Having a nice big live room is hard to beat for live instruments.

Have also decided that the Beyerdynamic M69n is the best snare mic ever.

Thanks for coming through:
