Tagelang bin ich im Hotel herumgeschlichen wie eine Undercover-Agentin mit geheimer Mission: Finde DEN Hotspot. Das eine Foto. Die heilige Insta-Grail-Location. Ich sag’s euch… ich hab gesucht, als hinge mein Influencer-Ruhm davon ab. Ergebnis? Ein glorreiches Nichts. Kein Spiegel, keine Ecke, kein Licht – nur ich, aussehend wie eine schlecht gelaunte Discokugel im Sonderangebot.

Und dann… dann passiert das Unfassbare: Mein Mann, der selbsternannte Anti-Instagram-Held, entdeckt diesen traumhaften Bereich. Ja, der Mann, der „Content“ für eine Erfindung der Hölle hält. Plötzlich steht er vor einer magischen Tür, öffnet sie wie Aladin die Höhle der Wunder und sagt völlig ernst: „Komm. Ich habe einen Sonderauftrag.“ Ich wusste nicht, ob ich lachen, weinen oder ihm spontan den Orden für außergewöhnliche Influencer-Diplomatie verleihen soll.

Hinter der Tür: ein Ballsaal, ein Kronleuchter-Traum, eine Treppe wie aus königlichen Märchen. Ich natürlich sofort mit Panik: „Da kann man doch nicht einfach rein…?!“
Er, völlig unbeeindruckt: „Doch.“

Und ehe ich „Content“ buchstabieren konnte, stand ich mitten in einer wildfremden Hochzeit. Unangekündigt, aber maximal elegant — schließlich trägt man so ein Kleid nicht, um anonym an der Rezeption herumzulungern.

Das Schönste? Die Hochzeitsgäste waren unfassbar herzlich. Niemand hat uns irritiert beäugt, alle haben gelächelt, manche haben sogar Platz gemacht, damit ich meine Fotos schießen konnte. Für einen Moment fühlte ich mich wie ein offiziell eingeladener VIP. (Oder zumindest wie jemand, der gut genug angezogen war, um überzeugend so zu tun.)

Die Location war so wunderschön, dass ich mich kurz gefragt habe, ob ich nicht einfach hier heiraten sollte. Nochmal. Nur für die Fotos.

Und ja… ich hab mich gefühlt wie eine kleine Prinzessin aus 1001 Nacht —
die sich charmant, elegant und völlig ohne Scham in fremde Hochzeiten reinschleicht.✨

I took my lovely mum down to the beach today for a little picnic, (we ate it in the car). We were both in awe of this lovely view. The clouds were so beautiful!
And me being me couldn’t resist a photo opportunity, if you’ve followed me for a while you will know I love photos like this, with spectacular scenery and “angry” looking clouds.
Today was definitely cooler than of late with autumn in the air. A lovely day had by all 🩵💙
