SEVEN DAYS AGO TODAY… something SHIFTED. And not in the way you would think

@redworship_ walked away @gmadoveawards WINNERS for the very first time and while the excitement is there, and even the gratitude for the recognition of our peers within the Christian Music Industry is there - I find myself more full of love for the local church… for bodies of believers everywhere who gather week in and week out to lift up the Name of Jesus, to know Him deeper and to make him KNOWN.

I find it no coincidence that our very first win came from our [LIVE AT REDEMPTION] record which tracks were almost entirely cut at 105 Nortech Pkwy in San Jose, CA… literally like even at Sunday morning services - but maybe @lizzie_viv will tell me next time we’re recording 🤣 - literally yall, the version of “Trust In God/Wait on You” her and I did on this project was from the first service from the first time we did it and I had no idea she had planned to potentially use it for a project someday haha 🤣 but all worked out I suppose!

@myredemption.cc - we meant what we said in that acceptance speech… it is an honor to serve YOU, to lead YOU in worship as well as to just worship alongside YOU, to do life with YOU… to simply BE THE CHURCH with YOU.

And to the worship leaders, musicians, MDs, Pastors, and Leaders of the local church at large - please remember this… there is absolutely NOTHING small about your week to week worship experiences, the rehearsals, the small groups, the early mornings, the vocal warm-ups, the loving on your teams, the honor and submission to your leaders, the love you have for your church… that is what it is all about. Be encouraged. You matter more than you realize.

At the end of the day, I know for a fact that I am just role player on a WINNING team rather than a solo player on a LOSING team… because you can’t lose when you’re on team Jesus. Period. And when you are truly a part of something bigger than just YOURSELF.

Pastors @ron.carpenter and @pastorhope.carpenter - thank you for leading us the way you do. We honor you. We celebrate you and know we are definitely reaping rewards that you have sowed for! We love You!

FIRST DOVE AWARDS ✅🕊️

my first time ever experiencing the dove awards in person was such a surreal experience that my mind cannot comprehend how epic it all was! i’m just super thankful for the life that God has blessed me with, all my amazing friends and family that he’s brought into my life, and so much more!

i’m thankful for what I am blessed to do. to be a vessel, to pour into so many artists and ministries, so that nations, and the whole world can witness the movement God is creating through His Kingdom.

Sometimes we keep going because of the examples God placed before us. We watched somebody else endure. We watched somebody else stay faithful. We saw proof that God could carry them through. But now… who’s ready to BE that example for somebody else? 👀
