A love letter to Filipino culture, identity, and pride 🤍
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From heirloom details like a carved wood box that once belonged to @annasalvaniaphoto Lola, to capiz shells, coconut cake, and menus inspired by traditional Filipino wedding food, every element was intentional. Hosted at a mid-century modern home in Holladay, the space became the perfect meeting point of American architecture and Asian-influenced design.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Each look honored a different chapter of Filipino wedding tradition, from indigenous attire and handcrafted jewelry to Spanish-influenced Maria Clara silhouettes and a barong Tagalog made from piña silk. Every model is Filipino, and every detail was chosen with care, history, and heart.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This shoot wasn’t just about aesthetics. It was about representation. About creating the kind of imagery the photographer wished she had seen growing up. About showing Filipino-Utahns that their culture belongs here, beautifully and proudly, in the wedding industry.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And you can feel it in every photo.

One of my favorite things about working in the wedding industry is meeting so many wildly creative, talented, and genuine people. This content day brought some of Utah’s best together, and it was amazing to be a part of this work of art. 😍

I absolutely LOVE when brides send me some of their favorite pictures from their wedding day! 🤩 I love seeing how all your plans have come together, how your dress and hair and makeup look, and of course, I love seeing how my styles hold up throughout the day 😏
