RESCHEDULED- pushing our screening in the park of Hereditary one week back so we can go support the @lacyclery fundraiser on August 8.

But nothing else has changed - hosting a short bike ride from Grand Park in DTLA, picking up some snacks, then meeting at Walnut Hill Park for our screening.

We are just hosting a week later so we hope to still see you then! If you can’t make it for the group ride just meet us at Walnut Hill park by 8pm. Scary movie in the park!

Our world has a lot of monsters. Some that seem unbeatable. But when your community has champions that step up, create spaces, take time, put in work - it kind of makes you feel like we can beat the monsters.

Our 2026 Bike Spring ended a week ago but we’d be remiss to not acknowledge the wonderful community organizers who do the work to make our community as special as it is. And ANYONE can step up and create something new. These organizers were just cyclists on the street like the rest of us. But they wanted to do a little more. Anyone can do it.

Thank you for volunteering your time and toil so we can have a thriving community. Thank you for being such champions.

Thank you for an amazing Bike Spring. And as always, let’s get more people on bikes.

There was LA riding. There were snacks. There were puppers. There was love. There was heartbreak. There was crime and drama. There was a perfect night last night for the bike-in screening of Drive hosted by by @shewgaze

This is one of Bike Spring events many look forward to and we thank everyone who came out last night. More Bike Spring is coming for the month of May!

Ice cream, movies in the park, anniversaries, and riding bikes. This past weekend, all over town, Bike Spring bloomed.

It's now the final week of Bike Spring. We got a ride from @skitchersgetpitchers and the All City Co-op ride to close us out 🥳

It’s Tumbleweed Time!!! @shewgaze was thinking about pulling the trigger on a @tumbleweedbikes Sunliner for sometime, but we think the greeness of the surrounding mountains right now, really got him to run the jewels!!! Here’s to Matthew’s very special #allezLAnewbikeday and here’s to the first @tumbleweedbikes out the shop doors! Thank you Matthew and thank you @tumbleweedbikes !!! We had to throw in that POV shot, just so y’all can see what it feels like to be Matthew right now!!! And how about those @dodgers, LA on a sick one right now.

Spring has begun and it is time to kick off our 2nd Year of LA Bike Spring! Our inaugural LA Bike Month last year was a huge success and we wanted to have even more fun activities to celebrate all things bikes for 2025.

These events are brought to you by the Los Angeles Cycling Community and is a joint series to bring our riders closer together. We want more and more people on bikes so LA Bike Spring gives us that perfect launch pad for riders to gather. Xaroochut means "the gathering place" and this spring we will be gathering indeed!

Flyers will be released from these groups and individuals as the weeks progress so please follow their respective social media pages for updates and of course SUBSCRIBE TO THE LA CYCLING CALENDAR.

Ride dates and organizers subject to change.
