She shared her testimony with me a few weeks ago. What she didn’t know is I was quietly turning her words into a worship song. I surprised her, pressed record, and she agreed to show her full, unedited reaction — so another mom on her kitchen floor would know God sees her. Watch her full reaction and hear the worship song on Youtube: Lisa Hears Her Testimony Become a Worship Song (Unedited Reaction) Lisa is building She Will Rise — a safe place for single moms with a coffee shop, coaching, and rest. You can donate today and help make that vision come true faster: https://gofund.me/27c124238 Please like, comment and share so it could reach more people! @highlight

Lisa was my first guest on my new Youtube Series Unlikely Yet Chosen. 🙌🏼🙏🏼🌺 YOU HAVE TO HEAR HER STORY! She was on food stamps, postpartum depression was crushing her, and freezer full of food spoiled with zero money to replace it. She almost harmed her baby she loved. Then God showed up. Today Lisa is the founder of She Will Rise SA, helping and mentoring single moms across Texas. This is not just a single mom story. It is proof that God still chooses the most unlikely people to expand His Kingdom. If you are in a dark season or looking for purpose, this is for you. Watch the full 20-minute testimony on YouTube: Single Mom to Empire From Food Stamps & Postpartum to God’s Grace | Unlikely Yet Chosen Comment “RISE” and I will send you the link directly. #singlemomtestimony #postpartumdepression #christiantestimony godprovides purpose

This girl.... she was probably 19 or 20.... the world at her finger tips...yet so lost and had no direction. Making unhealthy decisions all the time... Thinking guys, alcohol, & partying was life. That she was too sensitive, and had to put on a front to hide her true self. Afraid to show who she really was inside for fear of rejection. Of wanting to be loved desperately, and wanting to love someone just as deeply. She didn’t know Jesus, had no clue how valuable her life was. She also didn’t know how fully loved she was. I look back her and think, man... look at how beautiful she was, how compassionate she was for others, and how passionate she was for life, friends, animals, her job... but how she also thought she was the ugliest and fattest friend of her group.... always comparing herself to others... Man, it truly is crazy how the devil can have a grip on our lives and we don’t even know it. We think it’s normal. We think this is how it is because that’s how it’s always been, or that society and friends are this way, so I must be too. Oh how if I could, I would go back and hold her, hug her, tell her how beautiful she really is, how perfect she is, how fully loved she is, how God hand picked her to live in the here and now, for this specific time and place. How opinions of others don’t identify her, what God said does. I am thankful for these years, I wouldn’t trade them for anything because so many important life lessons came from these times, and absolutely amazing memories. I thank God for keeping me safe, and guiding me, whether I knew it or not back then, I know now, and see His hand on my life as I look back. So thankful to have found these photos while cleaning this morning. It’s a beautiful reminder of where I came from, and how much more there is to come!
