🇨🇺 LOS DOS ABUELOS FESTIVAL 🇨🇺
📍 Santa Susanna, Barcelona | 🗓️ March 19–22

A gathering that brings us closer to our roots, where Cuban Son, Rumba, and Cuban culture take center stage. ❤️

A 100% Cuban festival with a warm, family-like atmosphere, created for those who want to learn, connect, and experience the true essence of our culture.

🥁 Two rooms dedicated to progressive learning:

* Cuban Son & Casino: structured classes to learn, grow, and deepen your dance skills.
* Cuban Rumba: workshops designed to explore and develop the richness of this tradition.

Plus, a special Afro-Cuban Yoruba Masterclass & Bootcamp, led by several of the festival’s teachers.

Here, teachers are approachable, knowledge is shared, and the nights come alive with open rumba sessions, music, and authentic Cuban spirit.

More than a festival, it’s a place to grow, connect, and feel the power of our roots. 🇨🇺❤️

Did you know that Saturday was World Mental Health Day? I didn't.

I was budy dancing. Probably the best thing you can do for your body, brain and soul 🥰

11 hours of workshops.
2 nights of social dancing.
86,683 steps.

That's how I spent my weekend at the Cuban Salsa festival @fiesta_elegante in Berlin.

And I didn't just break a sweat – or two 😅 I challenged my brain, deepened my understanding of the cultural context and complex musicality, refined my technique, connected with people and soaked up the energy of the dance community.

That's a whole lot of magic at once and the reason why dance has been my passion for most of my life. Can't wait for the next festival 😍

¿Tú crees que Silvio Leroy consigue vacunar a Sheyla? 👀🔥

En el guaguancó todo es juego, picardía, improvisación y conexión.
Él persigue… ella esquiva.
Y cuando parece que lo tiene… ¡se le escapa! 😏

🪘THIS IS GUAGUANCÓ FESTIVAL🔥

Son Cubano with @albertmolina.dance & @sheyla_dancer

But if there’s one thing this video shows, it’s that Guaguancó is about much more than dancing.

It’s about Cuba. Music. Roots. Learning. Sharing.

About finding yourself in a class surrounded by musicians, dancers and people from all over the world who share the same passion🌍🇨🇺

And this is just one of the thousands of moments that happen throughout the festival.

If you’ve never experienced Guaguancó…
you’re missing much more than a festival👀

🔥 FRANCO HAITIANO WITH @sheyla_dancer 🔥

A little throwback to what we experienced at Guaguancó Festival⏳

Because this festival is not just about salsa.

Franco Haitiano, folklore, Afro-Cuban rhythms, live music, international artists, workshops, shows, social dancing…

And this is only a small part of what Guaguancó has been.

If you weren’t there… are you really going to miss it again? 👀
