Imagine the very thing that shifted me yesterday was when my friend looked at me and said you so comfortable being a plus one but you are in those rooms because the people who take you in experience you in a way that makes them want to be around you, take up space and know that you belong there because of who you are. It was said with love and a gentleness
But more than it being said, I felt that love in that moment. She wanted to see me thrive and she said you holding back why?
And I said it’s the fear, (like not wanting be seen in a way where who does she think she is)

I was always told growing up that I’m not enough, I felt like nothing I did was ever good enough, my dad called me names growing up as a joke (it wasn’t funny it was hurtful) and as the sensitive person I am I believed it.
Not being good enough or worthy is what my subconscious was running on
And while I know that I am worthy I need to start showing up like her, unapologetically so.

You would never say that this girl here has been in a space where she’s been feeling so stuck with herself because you don’t see that in these videos but this was all taken a 3 weeks before that conversation happened,

Anyway this is your reminder to pick up that phone or pen and journal, get it out of your head cause all it’s doing is taking up space and blocking your flow, flow to create and build the life you know you deserve.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. You have held me down through some of my hardest seasons quietly, consistently, without ever asking for anything back. You’ve been my safe place, my strength, my calm when things felt heavy.

But what I love most is that you’ve also taught me how to hold joy. How to laugh again, how to celebrate the good moments without guilt, how to be light even in the hard moments. That’s such a rare gift.

I value our friendship more than words can say. You see me, you support me, you remind me who I am when I forget, I am so grateful for you. I love you deeply🖤
