MY HIGH for Moving in FLUX 2025 been wanting to make something to this song for forever but I always knew I couldn’t do it by myself. thanks @paulji711 for being so down and for being the best collaborator I could ask for. to our incredible cast, thank you for trusting us and for bringing the vision to life so perfectly. it was so much fun getting to work with new and old flux gen for this project. congrats @flux.uoft for another incredible MIF showcase! so special for us to be back as alumni and to get to put work on this stage again :) video: @caikiru editing: @kiandime choreo: @paulji711 and @han.szpt

honestly, i wanted to express my feelings about creating and workshopping this piece in a poetic way (that seems cool), but im really bad at that. so i’ll just say it straight. thank you @flux.uoft for the opportunity—for giving us newbies a safe space to create and perform our own projects. this home always has my back and I’m so grateful. Credits to Videography @caikiru Editing @kiandime speaking of dancing, i’ve been around it since i was really young. you know, when every hong kong parent makes their kid pick between ballet and piano? that didn’t last long. later, Latin seemed interesting, so I thought ‘why not?’ but the true start of my street dance journey didn’t happen until i was 13, when participating in a charity show really sparked my interest. a blurry start? maybe. for many years, I followed the one and only teacher, @ha.a_____ (I love you, lol just mentioning you randomly). she inspired me, and my style shifted depending on her. a stage of uncertainty? i guess so. i tried Jazz Funk, Hip Hop, but never dug deep into any of them. through the process of finding my own path, i think i know what i like now. a lot of parts still need polishing, but i feel much clearer about my goals and what i love. this all might seem unrelated to ‘SAD GIRLZ LUVS MONEY’, but it is actually the solid foundation of how this piece was born. to my first-ever solo project: im thankful for everyone who supported me. and most importantly, to these dancers— @mytalkingtom.vn @rae.llyy @lucyjlu_ @shi0nn @withniina_ @_ex1wj , this wouldn’t be possible without you. thank you for your trust. i know im not the most organized or experienced choreographer yet, but your talent gave me so much hope and confidence. ♡

It’s Ok I’m Ok - a reminder that no one gets to define your worth except you. Now that showcase is done, I just want to say how proud I am of the flux girlies for becoming pop stars with this piece⭐️. When I said this should give Katseye X Tate McRae, ya’ll DELIVERED and I’m so thankful for each one of you! This piece has genuinely received so much love and I’m still shocked that it went viral on tiktok?! It’s surreal to see something so personal resonate with so many people. (Shoutout to my brother for posting it, even though you didn’t tell me) For our directors @nicole.yen and @kaileyyhuang , I’m always grateful for your support, as well as @flux.uoft for giving us the opportunity to showcase our creativity. ♡ Until the next one💫 🎥: @yurikang.aroo 👯‍♀️: @annngellllllla @fanyifeii @mia._.dzx @nicole.yen @shi0nn @tina._.lin @euiii22_ 🎤: @tatemcrae

DOWN BAD‼️ Quite crazy, but I just put together my first set ever for moving in flux!!🫶🏽🫶🏽 You know It’s funny but I never really found myself stressed. I think I truly fell in love with the process of it all - The people, the space, the itch to challenge my mind, it really made it all so rewarding to experience. So much yet to learn but that’s the beauty of it all. This would have been far from possible without my lovely family and directors @flux.uoft @kaileyyhuang @nicole.yen 💌Thank you for opening up the warmest and safest spaces so we can do things like these. The support goes unnoticed, so very thankful<3 And to my incredibly talented cast members!! 💗 I’m in awe of each and every one of you - left every rehearsal inspired by your talents, you guys are so special to me. Your drive, support and patience made this piece what it is. Would not have had this any other way🤞🏾 Here’s to many more firsts!! Ending this gracious year with a big bucket list item checked off🤭 My amazing crew: @jus.coroza @reinehuynhh @angelique.dancel @kaileyyhuang @grc.99 @_1shika @jessiejiexijess_ @ohheyitslia @keithdime @alexandraenieves @yunasongg @michelle.mca_ @shi0nn 🏠: @flux.uoft 🎥: Shoutout to the best @yurikang.aroo
