Stay tuned…

The season is coming to an end, and we bid farewell to an incredibly intense summer. We are grateful for the countless sunny days we were able to enjoy with you. Whether on vast colliery grounds, on a slag heap, at a harbor, or even just in a small backyard setting—this summer has hopefully created positive experiences for some of you. But anyone who thinks the season is already over is mistaken—we still have big plans with you this year! Stay tuned…

[Entry 003] // “no_destination”

The strangest part of driving to car festivals is packing your things the night before and thinking: “Why am I doing thousands of kilometers again?!”

Then you hit the road, and everything falls into place.

At some point, you realize the festival itself is just an excuse. The real experience starts on the way there — and continues long after you arrive.

It’s that feeling when time finally slows down. In everyday life, you’re always rushing somewhere. On a trip, there’s just you, the sound of the engine, endless asphalt, and lowered cars in the rear-view mirror.

You start noticing things you’ve grown used to at home: the way shadows fall across a body, how the landscape changes, even those tired little gas stations somewhere thousands of kilometers from home.

And the best part is the people.

You meet others just as obsessed with car culture as you are, and after five minutes talking by a fuel pump, it feels like you’ve known each other for years.

A festival isn’t just polished cars and beautiful locations. It’s people first. It’s walking up to a build someone has spent countless nights working on in a garage, and seeing their eyes light up as they tell you about every detail, every modification, every part of the build.

In moments like that, the feeling of being in a foreign city or country disappears. You’re surrounded by people who speak the same language, respect each other’s style, and share the same obsession.

Maybe that’s why I stopped seeing car culture as just a collection of beautiful cars. At some point, the cars become an excuse. What stays are the people, the stories, the roads, the cities and the memories.

An event isn’t just a destination. It’s a gathering of people worth driving thousands of kilometers to see.

You don’t drive for the destination. You drive for everything that happens between there and home.

Bentley Cologne C&C

When Bentley Cologne invites you for coffee on a Sunday, you don’t hesitate for long: @bentley.koeln approached us a few weeks ago and asked if we’d like to join their C&C with a few vehicles from our community. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of spending Sunday there with some very special cars, fabulous catering, and great conversations. Thank you for the invitation and to our community members who showed up in large numbers. A great start for a successful collaboration!

Club De Ultrace 🏁
Toyota Soerer, Supra, Nissan Skyline…
