35 years of life with you…so many adventures, lots of trying times but all worth it because the outcome has been greater than anything we could have asked or imagined, and most of all an incredible amount of LOVE.

You have been patient and kind, not envied or puffed yourself up, you have not behaved rudely or selfishly. You have not rejoiced in iniquity and have rejoiced in truth. You’ve beared all things, believed in all things, hoped in all things and endured in all things. And because of that…love has not failed.

I love you @spaghettihead.dave and am excited for the next 35 years. ❤️ Wish I could have put up 1 pic for each year but then this post never would have made it to the gram!

Mother’s Day was such a blessing and my heart & belly was so full. 🥰

Sami made me the most beautiful bouquet of specially picked out flowers & arranged them herself! 💐

Selah made me her homemade cinnamon rolls 😋 with pumpkin spice! And she bought the biggest bouquet of beautiful flowers too! 💐 Plus I got the added bonus of having my grandbabies love 💗

We all missed Shiloh since she was cruising on the Mediterranean but she also sent love from abroad. ❤️

I literally get to live out what I’ve dreamed about…growing old with the people I love the most around me. Must give special shoutout to Dave for putting together the spread & cooking all the food. 😘

The Easter bunny 🐰 came to Sassy & Papa’s house too! Couldn’t resist the tradition of getting new bathing suits & sunglasses for the kids. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Today is Small Business Day and I wanted to take a moment to highlight @madelinehornbuckle , who launched her online clothing store @mported.us about four months ago. I wish everyone could see the amount of effort she has put in behind the scenes to bring her vision to life, from learning how to code to build her website, to searching for slow fashion designers from around the world to give them some shine, bringing in a professional photographer (@aftrhrs.co), working as a stylist assistant to get her foot in the door, and even taking community college classes to understand how to build a business the right way. Her attention to detail has never slipped.

I’m so proud of you. It’s not easy choosing the creative route. You have to be vulnerable and put yourself out there, but when it’s genuine it shows. Keep going and keep pouring yourself into this.

And if you took the time to read this, thank you. And thank you to everyone who has placed an order with MPORTED. Every sale is huge for a small business starting out. There is a 20% off sale on the whole site right now, so go show some love and support if you can. Her curation focuses on slow fashion from emerging designers, so you are buying pieces meant to stay with you for a lifetime. Swipe right to see all products currently available.
