Plain walls are forgettable. Chair rail, shadow boxes, and V-groove shiplap? That’s a room people walk into and immediately ask “who did this?”

That’s the goal every single time.

As we wrap up 2025, we just want to say thank you.
To our clients, partners, designers, and everyone who trusted MHGNY Woodwork & Carpentry with their homes and projects this year—we are truly grateful. Your support allows us to do what we love every day and continue to raise the standard of our craft.

This year also brought growth to our team, and we’re excited to welcome Mike and Ryan to MHGNY. Their skill, work ethic, and attention to detail have already made a strong impact, and we’re proud to have them on board.

From custom millwork to full carpentry builds, every project is a reflection of the people behind it. We’re thankful for our crew, our community, and the opportunity to build work we stand behind.

Here’s to another year of honesty, quality, and integrity.
Onward to 2026.

This client loved the chair rail and split wall detail in her dining room but wanted more. To enhance the space we added a baseboard detail for a taller appearance and brought in shadow boxes and chair rail to the foyer dining room and stairwell. The final touch was adding black metal balusters! This was a really fun project and we hope you love it too!
