Revirth presents EARP 11.21.2026 (Sat) at Kagurane Open / Start : 18:00 Door : 3,500JPY LIVE : O.N.O Numb x Saidrum Koichi Shimizu Sokif DJ : TEN BOW（ZUNDOKODISCO） Art work By : Sonoe

KOICHI SHIMIZU At DIAGE 2026, his sound expands beyond the speakers, brought to life through an audiovisual production that transforms the space into his world. Koichi explores resonance, texture, space, and the physicality of sound, creating music that can shape perception, imagery, and memory. Based in Yamanashi, Japan, Koichi Shimizu is a sound artist and composer whose practice moves across music, film, installation, live performance. His collaborations include filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul, for whom he designed sound for works including Fever Room and A Conversation with the Sun (VR). For DIAGE 2026, Koichi returns with Continental Affair (DIAGE Deconstruction) — an ambitious reconstruction of Cyndi Seui’s original track, taking its original DNA into a new vision of Bangkok, where beauty and chaos exist side by side. Joined by the voice of Thanachai “Pod” Ujjin, the work becomes a collision of generations, disciplines, and different ways of hearing the city.

Three artists. Three distinct paths through electronic music. Cyndi Seui is a Bangkok-based Filipino producer and electronic artist blends vintage synths, electro-funk, disco, boogie, city pop, and soulful electronics into a sound that feels both nostalgic and futuristic. In 2005, he composed and produced the original Continental Affair. Koichi Shimizu is a sound artist and composer based in Yamanashi, Japan. His distinctive style has been shaped by years of hands-on experience across a wide range of sonic practices, including his own artistic projects, music for films and installations. His work delves into the relationship between layered resonance, sound as a form of physical energy, and the imagery or memories they evoke. For this collaboration, he moves beyond remixing the original, taking the track apart and reconstructing it through a newly created sonic palette. ‘Pod’ Thanachai Ujjin is widely recognized as the lead singer and songwriter of the pioneering band Moderndog, having influenced the Thai music industry for over three decades. In this collaboration, he brings a familiar voice into a different sonic territory. Together for the first time, the three artists reshape Continental Affair (DIAGE Deconstruction) as a portrait of Bangkok : layered, restless and beautifully chaotic. Continental Affair (DIAGE Deconstruction) is now on YouTube. 🎧Listen now via link in bio. Blind Tickets available 22 August. #DIAGEFestival #DIAGE2026 #BangkokCalling #ContinentalAffairDIAGEDeconstruction
