Not quite finished, but excited to share a progress shot.
What a fun project.
My client had a vision of a Parisian Château.
So happy to help her bring that vision to life. The intricate moldings & details were literally years in the making, but so worth the wait
And how pretty is this custom mural by Susan Harter? It’s the perfect backdrop for the soothing bedroom.

I love to create custom pieces!!

We were working around the original windows so it was a bit of a challenge for the vanity space.
I love the soft stain finish and the texture.
I’m so fortunate to have such wonderful craftsman to work with.

Although this was a completely new space, we wanted it to feel like it might’ve been original to the home.
We had fun with the floor pattern but we also incorporated traditional elements & details.

Transformation of this beautiful powder room. A lot of custom details, the custom Burlwood cabinet & gorgeous marble floor.
This is a historical home so we had to work with the limited space of the original bathroom. We designed the vanity cabinet and had it made by our cabinet maker. And the countertop took quite a few few trips to get it right but I think the end result is amazing. Kudos to my Stone Fabricator because it definitely was a difficult job.

Inviting entry ✨

Love the soft wallpapers, which really pop against the moldings!
This lovely historical home had a lot of beautiful moldings that needed to be restored. But in addition, we added a lot more before having everything refinished.

We said goodbye to this beautiful kitchen today!
I really loved this kitchen and it will be hard to leave it behind. But, on to the next adventure!!
It was a great showcase.
We received so many wonderful compliments on the space. One of my favorites was that it was a Nancy Meyers kitchen!!
If you’re not familiar, not only does Nancy make wonderful movies, she’s a pretty awesome kitchen designer too!

The star ⭐️ of my @pasadenashowcasehouse kitchen was this spectacular stone counter.
The colors are just gorgeous and honestly, the pictures don’t effectively capture the true beauty of this quartzite.

🍃 First priority in designing this gatehouse kitchen, was to feature the adorable windows. ➡️

#traditionalkitchendesign @shinteriors

The old kitchen had a lot of inefficient uppers which covered the windows and blocked the light. We removed those and re-distributed the storage so that we could let in the natural light and surrounding greenery.
last weekend to visit the Showcase. I hope you guys can make it down, it’s a really special charming property.

A few vignettes from our Gatehouse kitchen @pasadenashowcasehouse
.
There are actually 2 houses on the property this year. One is approximately 8000 ft.² and the other approximately 1600 ft.².
We are in the smaller house, which is the Gatehouse.
There’s only one week left so I hope that you guys get to stop by and check it out.
