from finally passing my math course after 3 attempts to making hella new friends to spending more time with family than i did last year to welcoming a new family dog and making more music than i would’ve thought, i can really say that i am truly grateful for what 2025 has brought me.

gonna just say this straight off the bat, going to college honestly changed my life in ways that i didn’t expect. i’ve met so many amazing people that i’m thankful for and if it weren’t for me going, i genuinely don’t know where i’d be right now. i’m glad that i can say that i’m actually doing something productive with my life and still continuing to grow even when things felt overwhelming or uncertain.

no doubt in my mind that there were most definitely some ups and downs this year but then i learned that every year comes with something unexpected and no matter how dire it feels in the moment, you just gotta keep going and grow through it.

i appreciate to all of those who have been there for me thick and thin. and tbh for the first time probably ever i shit you not when i say this, i’m getting a good gut feeling that 2026 is gonna be a year of taking risks and making the best of what’s to come. ain’t no more hiding from the world this time. everyone thats gonna be a part of my 2026 just know that its yall year as well no ands ifs or buts.

i also want to thank and appreciate every single one of you who’s been patient with me when it comes to releasing music and supporting me along the way. oh and for anyone wondering yes acowmsomba is ON THE WAY

be fucking ready.

here’s to 2026, happy new years everyone 🥂🖤

sincerely,

- rubentleyy
