some people pave the path forward for the rest of us and that is what adil and murtaza did this past weekend. a beautiful queer wedding that elegantly brought together queerness with Muslim and Pakistani traditions -- not forced, not jarring, not over the top, not trying to "prove" anything, not trying to stand out, just completely natural, intimate, delicate, loving, blended, and in community. that's all we need, ordinary people living their lives and expressing all parts of themselves in their love ordinarily. so seamless, so colored, so textured, just a natural thing as if it was always meant to happen. may Allah protect your love alwayssssss 💖🧿
