My absolute FAVORITE Italian spot in Manhattan without a shadow of a doubt is L’artusi. You can’t go wrong with anything on this menu. If you haven’t been, make sure your make your reservation exactly 30 days out. Order any crudo, their house made ricotta, at least 2 pastas and don’t you dare sleep on the chicken. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What an incredible birthday weekend it's been for me. I'm 73 years young and a VERY stable genius, believe me. A few years ago I got Stormy Daniels for my birthday. This year I decided to tone it down and just go with a bowl of noodles from @thysnoodles Just like Stormy, I finished this bowl in under three minutes. At least these noodles didn't require any hush money payments!

Having written my @justopenedlondon blog about them when they opened a couple of months ago- https://www.justopenedlondon.com/wild-rice-and-mamasan-soho-london/ (shameless plug 😉), I was intrigued by Wild Rice and Mamasan’s 2 in 1 restaurant offer in the same building 🏫
I headed upstairs to @wildricelondon
with the modern Bangkok-style restaurant upstairs to try some of their Thai sharing plates 🇹🇭
Wild Rice has had some good reviews- it’s quite pricey but all their dishes are packed full of taste, and there’s plenty of opportunity for nood pulls (be sure to take advantage of @firsttableuk!) 💰 They recommend 2-3 per person, but my 3 personal highlights pictured were the Pad Thai vemicelli with tofu, beansprouts and prawns; special fried rice, red chilli paste and woodland pickled yolk, and finally the Massaman slow-cooked lamb curry with star anise and cilantro seeds 🍜🍙🍤
Each dish is unique and also quite large, and caters for veggies, meat-eaters and those that can handle their heat, so there’s something for everyone 🔥
