I am SO excited for these vintage Christmas minis this year! I have been wanting to do this exact style for so long, just never had the perfect location! I have always been inspired by older Christmas movies & thats what i want these to feel like. Movie stills 🥹 These are not your typical Christmas pictures.. I want you to look at these and feel like you went back to a simpler time. Maybe that was your childhood. I want you dancing in the living room, or cuddling by the candles and sneaking a kiss under the mistle toe! I want you to pull inspiration for your wardrobe from the 60s, 70s, 80s, or 90s! Have an old Christmas dress you wore as a child? Put your kid in that! I want these to really embody nostalgia 🫶🏻 I know these won’t be for everyone and that’s okay! This isn’t a “sit your booty down and smile” (we will get a couple of those) but this is more documentary and in the moment with gentle direction ;) sign ups will go live at 10:00 am! In honor or national breastfeeding month I had share my favorite photos ever taken of me and Charlotte. After 2.5 years we were both ready to say goodbye to nursing. I am forever grateful to have this moment captured so purely. Charlotte and I talked about it a few days before, again on the way to the session, and I even throughout. I was crying, Jeff was crying (out of frame, of course), and so was my sweet photographer @maddicairnsphoto . THIS moment is why I love photography. I am instantly back there. Feeling all the emotions. Joy. Sadness. Thankfulness. It was beautiful.
