The first ever Waterman Inshore Slam kicks off this weekend in St. Petersburg. We wouldn’t be able to put on this event without the support from our sponsors. This catch and release spin fishing (bait & artificial) tournament is a fundraiser for Tampa Bay Waterkeeper and our efforts to protect, improve & preserve the Tampa Bay watershed!

Here is Round 2 of our sponsor acknowledgements. These generous companies believe in our work to protect the Tampa Bay watershed and they are leading by example!

PS. If you haven’t purchased guest awards dinner tickets yet, there is still time! See link in bio!

From sunrise shoots to long days offshore, my SMITH sunglasses are part of my everyday gear.

As someone who spends countless hours on the water photographing, fishing, boats and enjoying the outdoors, having crystal clear optics, glare reduction, and reliable UV protection makes all the difference. SMITH’s ChromaPop lenses help me see every detail while protecting my eyes so I can focus on capturing the moment.

Thank you, @smithoptics , for creating eyewear I can truly rely on. Happy National Sunglass Day! 🌊🕶️

I’ve had a lot of questions lately about my preferred sunglasses for everything from technical tarpon fishing to hoodrat bassing. So in honor of National Sunglass Day… let me share that I picked these shades up and haven’t put them down since. The @smithoptics #chromapop #polarchromic rose blue mirror lens fitted into the Backcast frame. With Polarchromic technology to adjust with changing light, the Rose/blue lenses are truly the only do-it-all low light and bright sun sightfishing lenses I ever need… miles above any other lens I have ever fished with.

🌊🕶️ Happy International Sunglass Day from the middle of the ocean!
Nothing beats chasing big pelagics under that blazing sun, and my Guides Choice @smithoptics shades are the real MVPs every single time. Crystal-clear vision with the ChromaPop technology, zero glare, and built tough enough to handle salt spray, wind, and all-day wear. I genuinely don’t hit the water without them — best investment for any serious angler.
Protect your eyes, look good doing it. What’s your go-to pair for the water?

Happy National Sunglasses Day! 😎 @smithoptics RX Embarks are my go to shades for sight fishing/guiding in the backcountry waters of Florida. The side shields are an absolute game changer blocking all light entry and cutting glare giving me the best opportunities for seeing fish from a long distance. Get outside today with your best pair of shades and enjoy #nationalsunglassday 😎 #nationalsunglassesday #smithoptics #floridaspacecoast
