A week ago I walked a construction site. Today I am still thinking about what it means for this market.

Projects like Aman Beverly Hills do not just add inventory. They reset expectations, for design, for service, for what luxury living in this city looks like going forward. Staying ahead of that shift, before a project opens, before pricing is fully set by the market, is part of what I believe this business actually requires from the people who practice it well.

This positions the project at the very top of the Beverly Hills branded residence market, ahead of Mandarin Oriental, ahead of Rosewood, in a category of its own.

For serious buyers, understanding where a project like this sits in the broader luxury landscape is part of making an informed decision, not just about a home, but about an asset.

If you are thinking seriously about where the Beverly Hills luxury market is heading, I would welcome the conversation.

Behind a garden of California natives, this thoughtfully remodeled 1941 Spanish home in West Adams pairs original character with one of the most compelling outdoor spaces in the neighborhood.

The home offers three spacious bedrooms and two full baths, including a serene primary suite that opens directly onto a private redwood deck.

Outside, the property unfolds in layers. A substantial redwood pergola draped in mature grapevines shelters a decomposed-granite dining terrace. A river-rock dry creek bed winds beneath a wooden bridge and through flowering pathways.

The established edible garden produces avocado, lemon, fig, pomegranate, Oro Blanco grapefruit, pineapple guava, passionfruit, and native grapes, while the California-native landscaping provides seasonal color and habitat for hummingbirds, monarchs, bees, and butterflies.

A secluded outdoor shower, Jacuzzi hot tub, fire pit, lawn, nature-based play space, and multiple gathering areas make the backyard feel like a private retreat rather than simply a yard.
