My haul from the @storytellers_bookshop Pumpkin Chapter market! 🎃📚 There were so many great local authors and bookish vendors! I came home with a few new books and some bookish goodies. It was such a fun event, and I love getting to support some amazing local authors and creators!

Apparently, there’s a hidden C2PA marker (a marker we are thankful for) in one of the elements we used to make this post. 🤖

We do use Canva to create all of our flyers and graphics, but we avoid using any AI-generated features or tools. Unfortunately, Canva’s element library is increasingly being filled with AI-generated images, and it’s becoming harder and harder to tell which elements are AI-generated and which are not.

Instagram automatically labeled this post as AI-generated (again a feature we are grateful for), so we just wanted to clarify that this must be because of one of the elements used. We want to be very clear that Storytellers Bookshop does not support generative AI, and we do our best to avoid using AI-generated content.

Yesterday my local B&N hosted @laurabishopauthor and I knew I had to go! She was super nice, 10/10 recommend her as an author to meet, and she comes with a shirtless motorcycle man … I mean who could resist this event?! 🔥

It was a super fun day and as always, I appreciate the hubby for taking me and acting as camera man! 🖤

And just like that…the fall market season is here! Had the best day at the @getlit.bookfair at the @dallaspubliclibrary. I’m so grateful for all the love on my words, prints, and books (and all the excitement for Surely By My Thirties I’d Be There). You have the option to shop anywhere, so when you choose to support an author like me, it means the world. 💛
Because of all your support, we were able to make a $60 donation to Dolly Parton’s @imaginationlibrary 📚

It is always so fun to catch up with all my author and vendor friends too. If you didn’t make it out to this one, don’t fret, there’s another one in September!
