For a year after securing his New York City townhouse, singer-songwriter Zach Bryan spent time there with his dog, Jack, a roaring fire, and nothing but the bare necessities. That is until he was introduced to designer @alaneckstein of @thesomersethouse, who infused the home with a palette of leather, iron, copper, and timber, incorporating the same soulful nostalgia found in Bryan’s music.

One of the first things they sourced for the house was a pair of rare 1920s pendants by Poul Henningsen, setting the tone for the aged quality of the metal and warm woods that fill the residence. In the bedroom, Bryan spends long swaths of time writing at a midcentury Jacques Adnet desk, positioned alongside a 1970s Pierre Chapo chair.

In this age of over-curation, there's something comforting about the by-accident way designer Ken Fulk (@kenfulkinc) approached the interiors in @zacposen and @__harrisonball__’s San Francisco home. “Everyone is so bored of perfection. This house is meant to look like someone actually lives there. Like they’ve been there forever already,” says the #AD100 pro. The result is a mash-up of the couple’s style, taste, backgrounds, and influences. The campaign desks dotted about the house (a nod to the home's first seafaring owner) sit happily with the myriad objects—ornate lamps, funny chandeliers, over-the-top vases, patchwork tablecloths, and peculiar cushions—gathered from local vintage stores.

@troyesivan knows a thing or two about good taste, and we're not just talking about his music. Sivan’s Aussie roots shine throughout his soulful Melbourne residence, from the plantings in the garden to the art on the walls. Vintage finds like a Tobia Scarpa lounge chair and Percival Lafer sofa anchor the living and dining area, complementing custom @flackstudio_ pieces including an oak dining table and a utensil rail in the kitchen, set against a backsplash of Moroccan tiles.
