Discover the artists and stories that shape the Birmingham Museum of Art’s collection of Black American art. 📚✨ The “Roll Call: Two Hundred Years of Black American Art” catalogue offers a comprehensive look at more than 250 works by Black American artists spanning the early 19th century to the present day. Featuring paintings, prints, photographs, sculpture, quilts, and mixed-media works, the publication celebrates artists working in Alabama and across the United States. One year. ❤️ It’s hard to put into words what this partnership has meant to me. A year ago, the @bhammuseum gave a small Birmingham candle company a place on its shelves. Since then, thousands of visitors have discovered The House of Emma Rose through our fragrances, and that opportunity has helped shape the next chapter of this brand. To everyone at the museum, thank you for believing in my vision, supporting local makers, and creating space for small businesses to grow. Here’s to beautiful partnerships, meaningful storytelling, and many more years ahead. With gratitude, Bee 🤍 #BirminghamMuseumOfArt #ShopSmallBusiness #LuxuryCandles #MadeInAlabama #TheHouseOfEmmaRose
