Another LCT in the books and at this point idk if I’ll ever not get the blues when each one ends. What a truly special event, never ceasing to amaze me with the quality of humans that are a part of it.

New friends that feel like old friends, shoppers that feel like family, internet friends that become irl friends, spending money on clothes that doesn’t feel shameful. And my god a beautiful fucking collection of clothing.

Thank you @ampersandcreativecompany for creating such a beautiful environment, one where sales seem almost secondary because it’s just such a good time. Y’all are responsible for connecting me with some of my now dearest friends.

Highlights: I sold my two favorite coats, my hand-dyed pieces were a big hit, I scored absurdly cool nighties and slips to add to my collection, became best buds with @rustedanchorantiques who bought this beast of a family heirloom ring from me (and gave me the greatest, most me pendant I’ve ever seen, not pictured), getting to the afterparty early enough for free food

Extra special shoutout to my darling, new best friend @redrabbitbazaar — we met in the parking of the March LCT cause I stopped her to compliment her van. Then this past weekend she stayed at my house and we had the most magical & connecting hangs. What an exceptional person you are, radiating such joy and love. Sunday morning sofa cuddle therapy pre-LCT is now a core memory. Not to mention this killer 70s leather trench I snatched from you 🥰

Cheers to great neighbors and the new friendships that all derive from our silly little loves for funky clothes and old shit.

I feel like I’m always the last to post about this magical weekend, but I’ll just blame it on being an Aquarius - jus like my birthday, my lil emotional spirit needs extra time to process and bask in the joy that is @littlecitythrifty

Every vendor says it after every LCT weekend but it never gets old - @ampersandcreativecompany you have truly created something so special and rare and beautiful for the vintage community. The weekend feels like summer camp, or a high school reunion if you had liked all of your classmates. The weekend is nothing but hugs and smiles and laughter and support and it’s truly unparalleled to any event I’ve been a part of.

As usual, I met new incredible vendors, forged deeper friendships with the folks I only see a few times a year, and had fabulous conversations with customers both new and familiar. (By the way I love how there are repeat LCT customers?! Like folks who come and find my booth intentionally 💙) And obviously, I scored some absolutely STUNNING new pieces - but a post just on that later.

For now, I’ll just express my gratitudes.
Robin and BJ - y’all are an incredibly talented, patient, and brilliant team. So wonderfully supportive & present, & encouraging of all these weirdos’ weirdness.

To the lil center row that feels like home, I love the little community that forms every LCT weekend. I love the inside jokes and moments shared and chaos created by all of us like rowdy teenagers once again.

To the two fellas that make set up and break down so damn easy for me- little brother @data_lus and my love Andy. It’s fun to have such silly and supportive men around to play dress up with.

Experiences like these reinvigorate my soul, remind me of the hope and goodness and strength and camaraderie and levity and bright spots amidst darkness. It’s not frivolity, it’s fortitude.

Life’s too short to wear boring clothes so go out there and wear something that makes you happy!
