POV: you obeyed God years ago… and now you’re finally holding it. 😭

This design has lived in my heart since 2020.
I just never released it.

But this week?
It arrived.
In hoodie form.
Perfectly. Exactly. As envisioned.

Y’all… I LOVE IT. 🤎

Catch the debut in person this Saturday at
✨ The Cookout ✨
presented by @atasteofmelanin @thezayproject

Defining You will have a pop-up boutique bringing premium faith wear to the Valley.

We wear hope.
We wear love.
We wear Him.
And we look good doing it. 😌🔥

I was planning out the year with my husband when I thought of yall❤️. Casting vision requires intention and faith, and thankfully the Bible ladies out instruction in one verse. #visionboard #faithwalker #habakkuk #lifewithrhu #kingskid

If you’re waiting to feel fearless before you move, you’ll stay stuck.
Nerves aren’t a stop sign.
Nerves don’t cancel your calling. They confirm it takes courage.

Rest is doing something too.
New year or not- some of us need to have a seat. Sit down. Reset. Receive.

It’s all love and all jokes with the fam here even when they come from the rival side of the family😂.
FAMU vs BCU on that field. But family supported family is how it is in real life when you’re HBCU. I love us!

“Your next breakthrough might be one RSVP away.”

FABRIC Tempe is wild in the best way — every month they bring in successful creators, founders, and designers who pour into the community for free.
This week, menswear designer Nick Wetta is dropping real gems about his journey, his label, and what it takes to build in this industry.

I recorded a quick walk-through on how to register because this is too good to gatekeep. Donate what you can, show up if you’re curious, and soak up all that wisdom.

Today I met a beautiful woman named Linda. 💛
I complimented her gorgeous gray hair, and she thanked me but shared she hopes she doesn’t lose it. She had a brain scan on the 4th — there’s no sign of trouble, but because her brother passed away from a brain tumor, and she just wants to be sure she’s okay.

I asked if I could pray for her. 🙏🏾
And I told her something I’d just shared with a friend:
it does us no good to bet against ourselves.
If it’s not what you want to see, it shouldn’t be what you speak.

We agreed to keep it positive.
I told her I’d be praying and that she should stay in expectation of everything being clear.

And then this hit me…
The weapon might form, but if it doesn’t prosper—what do you call that?
➡️ A FAIL. 😎

The enemy stays trying, but he keeps failing.
We get distracted by the formation instead of celebrating the record of God’s victory in our lives.

So yeah… I had to throw on my shades and remind the enemy:
S-U-C-K-A. 💁🏾‍♀️
Weapons form. But they fail. Every. Single. Time.

Let’s lift up Linda in prayer that her scan is clear and her peace remains strong. 🕊️

Had the best time at @fabrictempe today. Learning the story, meeting Angela, and seeing how they’ve built Arizona’s fashion heartbeat was everything. They’re creating space for creators like us to plug in, grow, and get seen. Fashion shows are coming up, so tap in and get registered. Your next opportunity might literally be sitting in this building.
