Feeling nostalgic as I roll off of @thenyjl Greeting & Outreach Committee after four years—two as a member and the last two as co-chair. I had a great time and made so many beautiful memories with friends. I will miss everyone but still plan on coming to the mingles next year!

I thought I would share a few favorite photos from the last four years. As a committee, I think we have a lot to be proud of!

I am excited to begin my new role tomorrow as Mentoring Vice Chair for Placement! 💚

I had so much fun getting my nails done at @loft_nails_bay.area. Victoria specializes in Russian manicures and really deep cleans all your cuticles, using Gel X. This technique gives each finger individual attention, which is great—plus, Gel X is healthier for your nails. Her cute studio in Walnut Creek is all her own design, complete with art she’s installed herself! During my visit, we laughed so much; yes, I love my nails, but it also felt like therapy hanging out with her. She’s an independent entrepreneur and a total Boss who knows her stuff. I left not just loving my nails, but also feeling inspired.

I’ve been teaching for 15 years and am certified in most modalities. When I move, it’s an intuitive blend of Pilates alignment, yoga flow, deep release, meditation, dance, aerial, and myofascial massage.

I honestly don’t know if I could teach this particular flow in a class—it takes so much core strength, balance, a deep familiarity with your apparatus… and let’s be real, you’ve got to be okay with the footbar digging hella hard into frontal hip bones/ ASIS (it’s a whole thing 😅).

Maybe my advanced crew could be game to try it?
I just came up with this flow on my break, I haven’t seen the footbar used like this before, but it felt so right. You just gotta trust the creative process.

If anyone out there gives it a go, please tag me—I’d love to see your take on it!
