I started the morning of my vow renewal sipping coffee and getting creative with my own details before anyone else woke up. I wanted everything to feel a little whimsical, inspired by Italy and filled with food, fruit, and florals. Getting to photograph it all myself was the perfect way to start the day. I picked and planned out every piece. I DIY my centerpieces as well and decorated my own dinner table. This week Christopher and I took the kids to Ellijay Georgia to get dressed up, exchange love letters and vows as we approach five years of marriage on October 31st. It was intimate and focused on our love and the family we’ve built together. 🤍 Five years ago we weren’t thinking about a wedding. We just knew how much we loved each other and all we wanted was to be married. This time we wanted a little something special to tell each other how much we love each other still but in front of our two beautiful kids. There are so many people we love and wish could have been there but we kept it small, within our budget and focused on our family. It was such a special way to celebrate these last five years.
