Two years ago, I was laid off from my “big girl” tech job. Today, I’m launching my 4th commercial interior design project in Los Angeles, CA for @lashesonfleek_ ! 🩷

It’s crazy how life can completely redirect you. At the time, I had no idea that losing the 10+ year career I had built would lead me to creating a career and business that feels even more aligned with who I am. Now, I genuinely couldn’t imagine doing anything other than what I do today, so being in LA and seeing this project come to life felt so surreal. To see a design that started as something I drew with my own hands, after so many late nights coordinating with my overseas vendors and contractors, finally come together in real life is a feeling I’ll never get used to.

I’m so thankful to Nia for trusting me with this opportunity. This project challenged me creatively in the best way and pushed me to elevate my work even further. I’m so happy, so grateful, and incredibly excited for what’s ahead. I truly hope every @shoplashesonfleek_ customers who walks through these doors enjoys this space as much as I enjoyed designing it. 🩷
