A little check in from Coldsnow Interiors 🤍 I have been working endlessly, pouring my heart and soul into the same few projects for almost three years now, large-scale design builds and complete home overhauls, and a boutique commercial project. I’m learning something new every day. It has truly been blood, sweat and tears over here, creating homes that feel as though they’ve been collected and curated over a lifetime, but somehow doing it in a full sprint’s time. So much of what I love about this work happens behind the scenes…the constant sourcing, the estate sales, the buying trips, and the endless hunt for the pieces that give a space its soul. And most importantly the full circle moment of client excitement and appreciation for all that’s been accomplished. I’m really proud of what we’ve been creating, and even more excited to finally start sharing more of it here 🤍

Here’s @ashirtstory not a short story!! A Shirt Story A thank you note to Sasha Iglehart, The Huntress, and everyone who supported this collection from January through May. One of my favorite parts of building Locals Closet has been discovering designers whose values align with my own. When I drove up to Kent, Connecticut to meet Sasha and try on her pieces, I instantly fell in love with the brand and knew it was an aligned partnership from the beginning. What started with a visit to @rentrayage and a @locals_closet pop-up event, eventually led to seeing A Shirt Story carried at @thehuntressny for almost 6 months in Pound Ridge and featured at places like @mayflowerauberge it’s these moments that really bring home why I started Locals Closet in the first place. I’m constantly amazed by the work designers and all they do to build their businesses, travel for trunk shows, and bring their creations into the world. I’m grateful to be a small part of this ecosystem of local designers and artisans and have the opportunity to discover brands that really show off the local style of an area. If you’re looking to discover more independent designers, local makers, and brands aligned with your values, I recently launched the Locals Closet Guide on locals-world.com. It’s designed to help you build a wardrobe that reflects who you are while supporting the people behind what you wear wherever you are. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! To @a.shirt.story and the @locals_closet community Scroll to the end to see one of my favorite local spots in Pound Ridge, New York.
