Chapter 30. 🌸

Happy 30th Birthday to me! 🎂🥹🌸

This birthday feels different.

I used to think that by 30, I would have everything figured out. The career, the marriage, the family, the finances, the life I had pictured for myself. But God had a different plan for my journey.

This past season has stretched me in ways I never imagined. I’ve cried, I’ve questioned, I’ve prayed, I’ve had to start over, and I’ve had to learn how to trust God even when I couldn’t understand what He was doing.

But somewhere in the middle of my own healing, God placed something on my heart.

And today, on my 30th birthday, I finally get to share it with the world…

I WROTE MY FIRST BOOK!!!! 😭📖🌸

Introducing BLOOM, SIS: A Mental Health & Healing Journey.

I created this journal for the woman who’s tired of pretending she has it all together. The woman who’s healing from things she doesn’t always talk about. The woman who’s learning to love herself, set boundaries, trust God, and embrace the season she’s in.

I didn’t write this because I’m completely healed. I wrote it while I was still healing, still growing, and still becoming.

I’m just one Black girl with faith as small as a mustard seed, believing God can use my story for something bigger than me.

If my healing can become a seed for another woman’s healing, then none of it was wasted. 🤍

As I enter Chapter 30, I’m choosing to stop questioning why things haven’t happened on my timeline and start appreciating everything God has already placed in my hands.

This is my season of planting, trusting, and BLOOMING. 🌱

My first book has officially been submitted to Amazon and will be available soon! Here’s a little sneak peek inside something I’ve prayed over, cried over, and poured my heart into.
