Meet Suzy 🐾 Our 🦄 dog and one of the sweetest pit bull terriers you’ll ever meet!💕 Suzy was scheduled to lose her life at the shelter on 10/14, after just arriving to the shelter on 10/8. She was used for breeding and dumped at the shelter after multiple c-sections. She was placed on the euthanasia list for no real reason, and saved at the last minute. Without hesitation, an amazing group of people came together to help make Suzy’s rescue happen. On a moments notice @aeleavitt85 dropped everything and made her way to pick up Suzy for us, and @shortbullyjules rushed after work to welcome Suzy as her foster. Upon arriving to us Suzy had a lot of built up wax and inflamed ears. She sat so calmly and patiently as she was getting her ears cleaned. She ended up catching kennel cough and we were able to give her the treatment she needed. Suzy has the friendliest personality! She is a playful girl who loves going on adventures and also enjoys her cuddles. She has also been so amazing around kids. Suzy has a heart full of love, just waiting for her forever family. Come and meet Suzy today, she’s ready to capture your heart and be your best friend!💕 We are thankful for everyone that was a part of Suzy’s rescue. From @sailorrrsarah’s post on social media that caught our attention, @aeleavitt85 who picked up Suzy for us, Suzy’s current amazing foster @shortbullyjules, and the staff at @campopiedaycare who continue to take good care of our girl, we couldn’t do any of this alone. Thank you! Starting today, love is all she’ll ever know!❤️ #rescuedog #adoptme #adopt #fosterdog #saved

This sweet bully we call Iris was rescued seconds before her life was set to end. They said she was pregnant. She is not. She was in rough shape, overbred, upper respiratory infections, skin issues and other signs of neglect. She’s getting there though under the care of amazing foster @shortbullyjules . Slowly healing. Iris isn’t physically ready for adoption, but her attitude is. Happy Staffie! #shelterdog #timesup #safe #freedom #life

Sweet sweet Iris! Saved from SEAACA shelter with minutes to spare. Her time was up… like we were given the smallest window available. @shortbullyjules jumped into action and drove and drove and drove to get to her before doomsday could occur. She’s our hero. 🦸‍♀️ Poor Iris was so overbred, horribly neglected and is in much needed medical help. She has terrible upper respiratory, we are hoping she is not pregnant AGAIN. We can’t spay her because she is sick. Her skin is a mess. There’s more going on, but first things first. All we know is, Iris is grateful. She is ur typical wiggle butt staffie melting the hearts at the vets office. If u can donate any amount to her care, we would be so appreciative. #changeadogslife #adoptdontshop #shelterdog #spayandneuter

Happy 4th of July friends!!! We have been driving around Los Angeles checking in on our foster babies, pulling pups from the shelter, doing home checks for potential fosters, and vet visits. Yesterday we were visiting @shortbullyjules and Eve (aka Flower) we had to take this glorious pic of her! Whoever discarded this sweet momma with a prolapsed uterus @facesofdevoreandbigbearshelter is a serious idiot. She is the sweetest girl, and deserves the WORLD! Thank you to everyone who networked this girl! We wouldn’t have been able to save her without everyone’s help! Freedom looks good on you sweet girl!

Your house is your place of business. You are the owner of the business. Your foster dog is your new employee. Much like a company building , every room in your house has rules and boundaries that should be made clear to your new employee. They usually call this orientation. Employees aren’t getting written up during this time because they are still learning. Many companies don’t give you full benefits until about 90 days because most people need time to understand the rules. When a boss gets too emotional over their employees is where confusion happens. Set the rules for your house and teach your dog what those are with an understanding that it may take some time for them to learn before they receive “full benefits”. This message was brought to you by Flower (who is adoptable through @thepawerfulrescue ) and her foster @shortbullyjules ! #humblek9

Our sweet girl Eve (aka flower from @facesofdevoreandbigbearshelter ) is doing GREAT! She has fully recovered from surgery and is learning how to be a pup again. Her foster mommy @shortbullyjules has been amazing with miss Eve and is working on basic commands and leash work. She has a session with @humblek9 next week to work on leash reactivity. She wasn’t very well socialized, and don’t know how to greet dogs properly. But she is a total lover with people. We can’t wait for this short stack to find her furever home. 💕🐶 This girl deserves the best and we are ready to find her just that! Side note: she loves tiny bed 🤣

WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT! ⚠️ Flower update! NOW Eve! . Surgery was more complicated than anticipated but she made it through and is currently resting and decompressing in a loving foster home. . The surgeon is guessing she had the prolapse for weeks due to scabs on her uterus. They had to cut around the area then suture her shut leaving a small area open for her to urinate. . Depending on how everything heals up Eve may still need another operation but we’re hoping that’s not the case. . Thank you to @shortbullyjules for stepping up to care for this sweet girl and letting her heal with you. . PS- We thought we could save her from the dreaded cone of shame but unfortunately Eve could still reach the incision site with her donut cone on. #a749842

Road Dogs Posse! How amazing is this?!! A year ago Road Dogs supporters helped me raise the money to get a litter of Shortie/Bully pups from CL just to give them good lives so they wouldn't end up as backyard breeders (Swipe for 'Before') Well today, they all met up! So cute to see them together, and you can follow them all ❤️ @french_emperor @thecheechlife @shortbullyjules @a_cora_bull @bullyboys_of_lakebalboa The only one missing was @franknbenniedoseattle because, well, they are in Seattle! Thank you to everyone again who helped to transform these lives ❤️
