Le Messager is on Shots.

We grew up on the advertising this film bows to, and we made it on our own terms to see how far our way of working could follow that standard. Reading about it in the press that has covered this craft for decades closes a circle for us.

The film is an independent, self-initiated work, not affiliated with or authorised by Stella Artois or AB InBev.

Some shots selected from Le Messager, a new film from Kobayashi.

An homage to the Stella Artois films of the 2000s, the ones that treated a commercial like a piece of period cinema and trusted the audience to sit inside a story.

Set on the French front in 1917, it follows a young runner and the officer who sends him out, shot in firelit chiaroscuro on a 2.39:1 anamorphic frame. Two and a half minutes built the way those films were built, on restraint, on light, on faces held a beat longer than an advert usually allows.

Not a commissioned campaign. A tribute, made to see how much of that craft an AI film can carry today.

What You Have Is More Than You Know, a new film from Dika Karan

A reflective short film exploring gratitude for everyday blessings, framed through quiet moments of domestic life and natural environments.
The piece moves at a deliberate pace, pairing moody lighting and silhouettes with scenes of family, shelter, and nature.
Directed by Dika Karan under his DSTUDIO PROJECT banner, the film relies on directed AI generation to craft a calm, authored meditation on the things we often overlook.

Menace to society, a new film from Zein.

The project subverts urban menace through weaponized absurdity. Masked figures set up scenes of assault and hostage situations, replacing lethal threats with ridiculous interventions.

Zein uses the generative pipeline to build a tense, conceptual atmosphere where the mundane collides with the bizarre.

The visual language stays intentionally cryptic, pairing gritty realism and rapid editing with an aggressive Italian rap soundtrack.

This piece explores the obsessive mechanics of looking. A pale figure in a sterile white room strips a simple red apple into a subject of magnified clinical scrutiny. The environment then shifts to a saturated red gallery, transforming that exact observation into an exhibit where five large photographs of the apple line the wall.

Driven by a repetitive electronic beat, turning the everyday act of seeing into a hyper-focused, mechanical spectacle.
