To Johnson C. Smith University I appreciate you for everything you’ve poured into me. You didn’t just give me an education, you helped shape me into the man I am today. Every lesson, every challenge, every opportunity it all mattered. I’m forever grateful to be part of this legacy.

To my line brothers I’m not even gonna lie, I couldn’t have done this without y’all. Y’all kept me grounded, pushed me when I needed it, and stood beside me through everything. This bond is deeper than anything forever my brothers.

To my prophytes, D.P., and ADPs I appreciate y’all for setting the standard and holding me to it. Thank you for the guidance, the discipline, and the constant push to be better. Even when it wasn’t easy, it built me into who I am today. I’m just a reflection of what y’all showed me, and I hope I made y’all proud.

Most importantly I want to thank God for guiding me through every step of this journey. Through the highs and the lows, when I felt like giving up and when I didn’t know what was next, You never left my side. None of this would be possible without Your grace and favor.

This moment is bigger than me. It’s for everybody who played a part in the journey. 🎓

THE GRADUATE 👩🏾‍🎓

Dear Old JCSU,

In 2022 I came in unsure of my full potential.
Now I’m leaving as a woman capable of anything.

Countless memories, organizations, internships, leadership roles, and connections that turned into lifelong bonds. This place gave me more than I could have imagined.

Graduating with the highest honors, Summa Cum Laude!
The youngest grandchild, and the first to graduate.

And before I even walk the stage, I’m leaving with a full-time job and my first apartment.

Thank you to my family for always encouraging me, for reminding me it was okay to do it all and also okay to change directions.
Thank you to my friends and my sisters for always lifting me up.
And thank you to myself. Once I started betting on myself, I’ve been unstoppable, and I know this is only the beginning!

I will always be grateful for JCSU and the lessons it taught me.

13 days until I am an HBCU Alum…🤍🎓

Sorry I was gone…. had to update my status to FINER🕊️

First, a huge thank you to my mentor, would never have found a sisterhood like this if it wasn’t for your guidance, proud to forever call you big sis.

Second, thank you to you the president of Kappa Chapter. Thank you for the motivation, support, and path you have shown us.

To my SISTERS, getting to known each of you has been an honor, cannot wait to grow with you all even more and stick with you throughout our years in Zeta Land. The start of S.O.E💙🤍

Last but not least, my family and friends! Thank you for the overwhelming love in welcoming me into Zeta Land, even being 6-7 hrs away still showing support and encouragement.

VeriPHIed officially signing in, a start of a legacy and I’m forever committed💙🤍
