The camera captures the subject, but the lighting tells the story. 💡💎 Welcome to Episode 2 of our Anushka Jewels campaign breakdown! When shooting high-end jewelry, lighting is everything. You have to balance the sparkle of the diamonds, the color of the gemstones, and the mood of the model—all in the same frame. Here is how we pulled off two completely different looks: 🔴 The “Hard & Dramatic” Look: To make the enamel and diamonds pop against the red satin, we ditched the softboxes. We used hard, directional light to create deep, sharp shadows that gave the jewelry incredible dimension and texture. MP4 🌅 The “Golden Hour” Cinematic Look: We wanted the warmth of a sunset, entirely artificially, inside the studio. We used warm gels and gobo (go-between) modifiers to create those stunning window blind shadows across the model’s face, highlighting the jewelry perfectly without washing out the intricate details. MP4 There is no “one size fits all” lighting setup in commercial photography. Every piece of jewelry demands a different approach. Full video production. 2 days. 2 completely different locations. ⏱️💎🎥 When the team at @azadinc approached us for the Anushka Jewels campaign with a massive 42-shot mood board plus video requirements, we knew a standard, single-location shoot wasn’t going to cut it. To bring their full vision to life across both stills and motion, we had to split the production. 📍 Day 1: We locked in Mad Vision Studios, utilizing their heavily themed sets and heavy props to capture a classic, luxurious aesthetic on both camera and cinema rigs. 📍 Day 2: We packed up our entire studio setup and moved directly to the client’s location, shooting against raw, marble textures for a completely different editorial vibe. The ultimate challenge as an agency? Blending two completely different environments into one cohesive campaign that flows seamlessly across photography and video. But getting the shots on set is only half the battle. The reality of commercial photography: not everything is as it seems. 🤫✨ When we partnered with the talented @amyablestudios to bring the mock brand “Tropi Pop!” to life, we had the vibrant packaging designs but no physical cans. So, we improvised. We grabbed some Fanta, Sprite and 7UP, built out the sets, dialed in the harsh summer lighting, and let the magic happen in post-production. The Hustle & The USP The clock is ticking. ⏱️ Welcome to Episode 2 of our Pro Fresh series! With a hard 4 PM studio checkout and an entirely new mood board to execute, there was zero time to waste. We immediately got to work building the set and dialing in the lights. When you shoot reflective packaging, even the smallest movement throws off the highlights—you literally have to chase the perfect light across the bottle. 💡 The biggest challenge of the day? Capturing Pro Fresh’s coolest feature: India’s first twist-to-drink cap that drops the protein right into the water. It took a lot of directing, micro-adjustments, and a few retakes to get that satisfying “twist and drop” action perfectly on camera.
