“Natural State” is a modern Western directed by award-winning filmmaker Allen Mays. Set in present-day Arkansas, the film

Ask yourself one question: How much of yourself would you sacrifice to protect your family? “Natural State” is a modern Western directed by award-winning filmmaker Allen Mays that does just this.

Over the summer, we filmed in Northwest Arkansas. In a world of AI sets, we shot this on location using real horses and real riders to keep this Western fully authentic. We’re currently raising funds to cover our finishing costs, including sound design, editing, color grading, cast & crew salaries, and festival costs. Please help us reach the finish line of our remaining $15K budget by clicking the link in our bio ❗️

Thank you to our sponsors @colasselproductions , @theblkscript , @narcissowinecellar, @healinginthesaddle_, @nodeviationstudios @thelily_dc . Please give them a follow; we could not have made this film without their contributions and support to the film.

Filming on the weekends has its pros and cons. I'll probably be finished editing like a week after we wrap, but I'll be itching to share stuff the whole time!!!!!

Patience! Plus, I'd never do that to the project, or the team:
