I thought I would be terrified of turning 30, because I don't have my whole life figured out. Who really does, though? Who convinced us that 30 was the cap? And that as women our worth starts depreciating after this?
That's a lie I won't be believing sha. I feel like my frontal lobes just fully developed and connected 😭.

Gosh, there is so much more to look forward to, so much more to see and still a lot of life to be lived.
There is more of Jesus to know, more of his love to experience and be overwhelmed by, more of his image to be conformed to.

The story of my life is still being written and we are in chapter 3. For context, that's just 3 chapters after the introduction, so the book is not done yet😅.

Happy birthday Gbenuola, you are fully loved and fully known.

The Doing of the Lord ♥️💍

Late post, but the testimony is still timely! I am still in awe of God’s Goodness and wonders in my life. My engagement story is nothing short of His grace and mercy. This is truly His doing and it’s marvelous in my life.

28 is such a big woman age because in my mind, I'm still 18. Who gave me permission to get older? 😭😭

This has been the hardest year of my life, and it feels weird to celebrate and grieve at the same time.

Death is a rude intruder and interrupter. It is also a hard teacher, and it's been teaching me to enjoy life and moments with people while I still can.

This is a bittersweet year, but I'm thankful to be alive. I'm grateful for my friends and family.
Most of all, I'm grateful that God still sees me and loves me.

all I can think about lately is how when we were younger playing house and we used to argue saying “I wanna be the older sister in college!” and now I’m a college graduate…

4 years down since high school graduation and even that still doesn’t feel real let alone finishing 4 years of college with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, Electronic Media, & Film, having done student research, earned research scholarship, awarded the Student Researcher Award, presented at the ECA conference, served as a TA, served as a SAB representative, having raised my country’s flag on my university campus, traveled the country with my a Capella group, and having credits already earned as an undergraduate towards my Master’s degree in Communication Management!

these past few years have been a whirlwind of experiences that I honestly can say have built some of the most transformative years of my life. from starting college in my bedroom in the quarantine, to transferring to Towson University and slowly taking on opportunities I never would have ever imagined of by simply saying “why not?” to one chance at a time, I found a department that embraced, supported, and empowered me, I found a group of friends who I could confide in, lean on, and share experiences with, and I am beyond grateful for my beautiful village of given, chosen, and found family that I was able to find comfort in all along my way to where I am today.

these last few years I’ve been insistent on “faking it till i make it” by still taking on chances that I thought were so crazily out of the question for me while ignoring how terrified I might’ve been, but to my surprise I eventually ended up feeling less fear of these risks essentially meaning I “faked it till I became it”

I am so proud of how much I have learned, how much I have changed, and just overall who I am today. little bemnette had no idea what was in store for her and her potential and my forever mission is to continue show her just how wrong they were to doubt her. see you next year with my master’s 🫶🏼

I will forever be my Father’s little girl.♥️
Apparently, I ‘recreated’ an old picture of a younger version of myself. It reminds me of how much I have grown. If only little me knew what God had planned out for me; who He created me to be and the gifts He has given me. Now I know better and
I’m super excited to see what this new year has for me!😅 God has been so so good and gracious to me. When you see me, I hope I remind you of God’s love♥️

Singles and Married’24 Event

I’m so thankful for the success of Singles and Married’24 Event held on February 3,2024. When the Lord had given the instructions to organize this event, I felt incapable and that it was impossible. However, by His grace and mercy, I found favor on every side with those He instructed me to reach out to.
