Next week I officially close out the first group showcase I’ve had the opportunity of curating.🩵👩🏽‍💻
🎙️ @la.serranita_ will be hosting an artist talk to highlight the hard work and dedication behind fellow artists who participated, followed by a Q&A and closing out the show with a special live musical performances and art making opportunities one last time. 📍🎶🖤

Down Union is on display @goetheinstitut_losangeles until October 25, 2024 Office Hours are from Tuesday - Friday from 10am - 5pm in case you find yourself in the neighborhood and want to see some art 🗓️
On Thursday night local artists and I shared the opening of this curated art show with our loved ones, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate us. 🌃🫶🏽🩵
To Alan, Aní, Kimberly, Kristal, Angel, Paula, Sandy, Jackie and Luis Angel thank you for accepting my invitation. I get to be a fan of my friends work and I won’t ever stop celebrating their own accomplishments. Seeing a space filled with everyone’s creative spark had to happen. Thankful for the team at the Goethe for helping me with the set up and allowing me to use their space. 🌃

Throughout this year I’ve made it my priority to visit exhibitions, dive into the history of art, resting while practicing movement and navigating conversations of the fast changing city we live in. I get to use art as a tool of resistance and I’m bringing my community with me in every way possible.
To everyone who’s ever cheered me on and even saw the vision before I did, thank you a million! 💐💐💐🌃🌟
