📈 ROLAND-STORY PROGRAM RECORD 📈

Last Friday night against Oelwein, Roland-Story’s Luke Thoreson set a new single-game program record with 261 receiving yards.

The previous record was 194 yards, set by Will Bunn at Albia in 2021 on seven receptions.

Thoreson finished the night with 10 catches and 4 touchdowns, with all four scores coming through the air.

The senior’s 4 receiving touchdowns ties the Roland-Story single-game record a mark he set last year. He surpassed the previous record of 3 receiving TDs in a game held by:

Nelson Evans vs CMB — 1999
Michael Henrichs vs. Ballard — 2001
Travis Frederickson vs. North Polk — 2001
Ryan Skaar vs. East Marshall — 2012
Adam McIlrath vs. Clear Lake — 2020

Thoreson and the Norse finished the regular season 6-2 and qualified for the 2026 Class 2A Playoffs.

Roland-Story will host Grand View Christian in first round on Friday, Oct. 23 at Kerry Van Winkle Field.
