Do you know what can happen in a year? These photos can show you. I made the original skit of Ballelujah last July, no budget just vibes, I had 5 IcyHot patches on because my body aching, and I almost canceled the shoot because I didn’t think the story would resonate. That skit led to funding from the city for the full short film in May. And now, I can say thank you @wwwfilmtv and @mspeacherino for putting on such a great event, with even better people and lovers of film of last weekend! Yall really put a brother on. From Texas to LA. The great @sirabiola gave me a layup Q&A as well.

The audience was spectacular, the filmmakers were so kind and talented, and Ballelujah received a cash “surprize”! The best part was the reaction from the crowd. The laughter made the entire project worth it. Ballelujah is the gift that keeps on giving. I don’t usually do dumps.
