POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Well, my beloved Hawks lost their preliminary final on Saturday in one of the all-time greatest AFL preliminary finals. Truly epic. I'm heartbroken, but watching your team at a pub with mates, all yelling, cheering and screaming at the TV is what makes September my favourite month of the year. I'm so proud of my beloved Hawks. 🙌🏼

I am so excited about what this book will bring you. Not just the wholesome nurturing of braises stews and soups but the opportunity to embark on some home entertaining adventure.
The hunting and gathering, the joy of prepping, the music picking, the wine selecting, the home care and putting on an outfit you feel happy in.
It all builds into immense love for your guests and an evening well spent.
Adventure further than your regular pool and feed yourself with new conversations mix in some new with the old and invite those people that inspire you or make you laugh.
So start making some guest lists, because as hibernation season is ahead, this book will become your other best friend. Thank you for joining me for my first of many tender dinner parties Charlotte, Luke and Ange 🩵🩵🩵
Presales are live so order it now x on shelves March 31.

Let’s back track a little bit here. What began a couple of months ago now, when my mate @agavecartel and I, along with our partners & friends enjoyed a weekend away in Seal Rocks with oysters, tacos & elixirs aplenty.

It was here, surrounded by our nearest & dearest, imbibing on mezcal & wine, that it dawned on us… life’s pretty good hey! It is only natural to get caught up in the wild & woes of small business, the peaks & troughs of global social economics or the general hardships of life & love, that we often forget why we do, what we do in the first place. This was the catalyst & the zeal necessary for something new. A new way we hope to share our passion through the beverages we love, with the foods we love, with a sense of wanderlust fostered through stories of the peoples & places from where we’d all rather be - amongst a diverse, convivial & open forum where connectivity & community are paramount. The nexus of our visceral pursuits.

Last week we invited a handful of our favourite wine & distillate nerds to @mamis.food.bondi for what blossomed into a joyous evening with well lubricated discussion, the sweet serenade of Barry White & our stomaches enriched with delicious Street Tacos y Frejoles. A great thanks to those that came, you have inspired us to do more by way of engagement, something we look forward to sharing with a growing & evolving audience in the months & years to come.

Hasta Luego Amigos,
Dan & Reece x
