Football themed everythinggg right now!
Love watching football, love playing football and love what grassroots teams can do for individuals and community!

Feel rlly grateful to have been able to work alongside @tatecollective and @bankside_london to create this mural in celebration of the Frida Kahlo exhibition at Tate. So amazing to see my football girls at this scale in public space!

Been passing by a lottt over the past few weeks ;) and have had some really nice conversations because of it. One guy was quite critical that it wasn’t overtly political, then he looked at the mural, asked if they were playing football, and asked why they were women. A minute later he was like, yeaaaa why not?!

Been rlly refreshing to see how public works can spark these kind of engagements

Huge thanks to @darrenjohn and the team for doing such an epic job in production , @kiera.grace for enabling me to be part of this and to @benditlikepeckham_se15 for bringing so much joy, community, and love for the game!!

It was a tremendous labour of love building an event around one of my favourite films, ‘Joyland’ (2022), and I couldn’t have been happier to see it so wonderfully embraced by our audience.

‘Beyond Borders’ centered South Asian stories through themes of queerness, diaspora and a universal desire for connection, encouraging an exploration of different lived experiences.

I’m beyond indebted to all the incredible artists who supported our vision with their beautiful works, our gorgeous DJ @_jhumkaaa, the generosity of my friends who helped me along the way, @thearthouselive for once again providing us with the most magnificent space for @_come_n_see_ and a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported us by buying a ticket and showed up with so much openness and curiosity.

I loved creating this event with @vmbut (dream team) and can’t wait till the next one.

So excited to properly announce that my first solo show, ‘Reaching, Touching, Shedding’ is opening on the 14th May at Camberwell Space. An exhibition exploring sport as a site of empowerment, belonging and connection.

Having gone through several manic moments of doubt and stress over the past few months ( probably gonna have one more for luck) it feels amazing to say the show is happening!

Everyone is welcome to join on the opening night on the 14th , soo don’t be shy and make sure u get a ticket - Link is in my bio!

the lovelies

my friends @shroombaby69 and @matchagreentea3__ came and visited me in East London, and we explored the canals and the surrounding areas for hours. It was the first time in spring that we could enjoy the sun together and I always love spending time with them whenever I can!

i am back after six months with photos from 2024 to say happy new year guys :)
2024 has been the biggest chapters of my life and it felt like it shouldve happened over multiple seasons ;-; there have been so much shit happening this year it was so full of love and tears and hugs and goodbyes and self growth and self loathing but its been such a wonderful year
to everyone who has been by my side through the past year i love you guys so much ٩(๑`^´๑)۶ all the lovely people in london and korea have made me live through another year and im so thankful u guys are a part of my life :’) and to all my long distance friends i hope to see you this year and i will make it happen even if i have to travel to the ends of the earth >:) cheers to more baking and yapping and random hangouts <3 i cant wait till i get to hug u again
