Last week was my last at Car Throttle. Over 6 years ago @adnanr35 @ethansmale and @autoalex took a chance and hired me as a video producer. I love making videos and cars so it was a dream job. After a while the guys invited me in front of the camera and sent me on this unexpected, mad tangent in my life. I've had some mental experiences with some great people over the years and hopefully there's more to come. This isn't goodbye, it's see you later.

Last week, I finished at Car Throttle.

After over 12 years of working there, it has been a pretty surreal week and full of mixed emotions.

For those that don’t know, I went along to a shoot as a bumbling Uni student to join Adnan and Ed to help film Car Throttle’s 8th video. Lacking confidence and automotive knowledge I had no idea what the next years would bring me.

Shortly after that, Alex joined and we spent years filming hundreds of different videos for the channel and I started to pop up more and more.

Roughly 5 years after that, Jack joined and the three of us went on countless trips, adventures and journeys together.

And then a couple of years ago after Alex ventured out on his own, Edwin and Ben joined us on the channel to continue the journey.

However, that brings us to today and unfortunately, my time there has drawn to a close. This time at Car Throttle has been my entire professional career. I have worked with some unbelievably talented people who have all gone on to further success and I have spent the 12 years laughing for 99% of the time.

Without this sounding like my next Ballon D’Or speech, I did want to take this time to thank a few people.

To Adnan for taking a chance on me, to all the people I’ve worked with at Car Throttle and WTF1, to the Visual Engineers and to my most recent team at CMG. Matt, Gassman, Will and Dec at CT, you are a really great unit and I wish you all the best for the future.

Thank you to Alex, I think, for pushing me out of my comfort zone over the years and to Edwin and Ben for the numerous bingles. Thank you as well to Jack, who I have also worked with.

To all the people who have watched and shared this journey with us, thank you so much for your comments and messages. I’m touched by them and I hope you’ll be excited for what is planned next.

It’s now time for us to go on a new adventure.
