2025.

So many changes. So much “new”. Emotional highs and lows, moments of pure bliss and moments of mental and physical exhaustion. Habits began, ended, and began again. The one thing that was a constant though? God’s immeasurable grace. A love like I’ve never known or will ever know. A patience so great I can only hope to replicate one day. I’m so grateful for every little moment. For every breath of 2025. I will remember all that you have done ❤️

August was a reminder of how much life can hold - joy, loss, and lots of change all in a few weeks.

The month started by celebrating Jake’s new job in Cleveland and one of my best friends getting married. Shortly after that, I moved back home just days after surgery. Our family also came together to honor my grandpa’s life.

Through it all, I’m reminded that God is good in the still, in the chaos, and He’s got everything under control. I will always need that reminder!

What a week it was spending time with friends while getting to serve the community of Ohio and getting to glorify God in so many ways. Wouldn’t want to do it with any other group! So glad to have opportunities like these😊

16 years later…I’m back to what I consider that a part of home, were i spent the first year of my life. I realized how much I took for granted, the things I have, the opportunities I have, even the family I have, leaving the orphanage it was bittersweet I was glad I went but then I knew I was leaving again, not knowing when I would come back but I do know it’s not going to be the last trip back. There were days we’re I was sad but then there was days I was happy and grateful that i had an opportunity to go back especially with my family! There’s no words to describe not only the feeling of going back after so long but just the things you remittance about, all the things in my childhood that were so hard and challenging. While I was there I got to meet Agripina one of the lady’s that was my caregiver back in 2007, along with meeting her I got to see photos of my birth mom for the first time!

It took me while to figure out how to feel about it all & just process what I went through, and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome of a trip. Thank you to not only my family but also my friends, & my church who have watch me grow up & make it possible for me to take a trip like this! And thank you @eaglesnestguatemala for welcoming both me and my family back and being a place to also call home!
