September 27, 2026.

When I initially put out a video in June saying that I was going to run 70km from UofT to McMaster to raise money for cancer research, I honestly had no idea what was in store for me this summer.

I didn’t know how demanding the journey would be or how many incredible people I was about to meet.

Fast forward 4 months and we got it done.

We raised over $30K in the process for @braincancercanada and we did it with the help of incredible people who resonated with our mission.

The list of people I’d like to say thanks to is too long - but

@thatsara__l who biked alongside me for the whole route keeping me fueled and encouraging me when things got really hairy…

@weldrickdarren for coaching me all summer and getting me prepared for 70km in less than 4 months…

@sydwise_ who really took the reins on organizing the run, operational and fundraising logistics…

@alxlian for really buying into the vision and pulling out all the stops to fundraise (including doing a milk mile)…

My fiancée Ruby, my dad and my brother, who push me to be a better version of myself everyday…

My mom, who brought me into this world, and who I ran this 70km for…

And all the volunteers and runners who ran along the way who spent their Sunday making the day the incredible success it was.

Photos tell one part of the story, and I’m hoping to share more through video in the coming days.

But if there’s one word I could use to describe the state of my soul, it would be gratitude.

I’ve started running again after a short break, and I’m looking forward to what’s next, both in terms of distance and fundraising.

The work is far from over.

Happy 17th birthday to our lovely daughter Izzy! This year’s family vacation in Paris was extra special because I got to spend a few days of quality time with the kids before meeting back up with my husband at the end of his Ultra Relay. Those few days gave us the opportunity to get to know you more and I felt my bond with you growing stronger, Izzy. I cherish all our memories together and heart-to-heart talks we shared. Thank you for being an amazing big sister to your little brother and you’re not only my daughter also my best friend.

Watching you grow into a beautiful, smart, and caring young lady has been an incredible journey. I feel so lucky to be your mom. The day you were born was one of the happiest days of my life, and I couldn’t be prouder of the person you’re becoming. Words can’t express how much I love you. 🥳🎂😘

La création, créer.

C’est l’acte de concrétiser une idée, une œuvre d’art ou l’univers lui-même, en leur donnant une forme réelle.

C’est exactement ce qu’était Lewildboar : un projet passion devenu réalité.
Lorsque ma femme et moi avons envisagé d’acheter une maison à Noyers, en France, je me suis dit : « Si je me lance, je dois faire découvrir ce lieu médiéval merveilleux et surréaliste à d’autres personnes. » Et quoi de mieux pour cela que d’y organiser une course ?
Nous avons donc acheté la maison de nos rêves, en avons fait un véritable foyer et avons créé quelque chose d’unique.

Nous avons couru sous une chaleur dépassant les 40 degrés, en plein soleil, dans l’obscurité (au sens propre comme au figuré) et au milieu de nulle part. Tout cela était magnifique.

Rien de tout cela n’aurait été possible sans la formidable équipe que j’ai réunie. Chacun a dépassé toutes les attentes pour concrétiser ce projet. Nous avons commencé comme coéquipiers, puis l’amitié nous a transformés en une véritable famille. Tout cela grâce, en particulier, à ma femme exceptionnelle.

Et que dire du soutien du village !?! Il a dépassé tout ce que j’aurais pu imaginer. Ce lieu unique s’est mobilisé pour nous accueillir : habitants, commerçants, amis, mairie et municipalité.

Merci Noyers.

Je ne veux pas redescendre de ce petit nuage. Mais je le dois, si je veux faire de la place pour créer à nouveau quelque chose d’épique.
