364 days have passed without your physical presence…. NO I AM NOT OKAY😞 Mommy I can’t even put into words what I am feeling because I have LITERALLY been numb since September 5, 2023@10:24pm. The world is still on its Axis but your ENTIRE family is still on tilt😥 we are all trying to do collaboratively what you simplified alone! I can fit your shoes but could NEVER walk in them!!! You were the EPITOME of a lady and you exuded such CLASS AND GRACE effortlessly that we could never match…. You did a GREAT job with your DASH Mommykins and we are so GRATEFUL for our time with you. It just was not long enough🥺 Dad is trying daily and we appreciate him for doing so…he MISSES you more than I will ever know or be able to explain and so does your doggies….. we check in on Auntie who misses you immensely and makes sure we’re ok💜 long story short NOTHING IS THE SAME WITHOUT YOU and it never will be again😶 I pray you’re adjusting up there…I know you are getting and keeping things together for us up there because we FEEL YOUR PRESENCE down here!!! I still cannot believe I am writing this post thru puffy…swollen eyelids but I’m going to finish this…I would like to thank those of you who reached out to my family in any way with this horrible new reality me and my family navigate through daily…you are appreciated! And for those who pray for us we are equally grateful…. KEEP DOING it because WE STILL NEED THEM! Grief is a very VICIOUS place to be…. It’s isolating and lonely💔🖤 My family is supportive of each other’s cycle and we are respecting the process…. The hardest part is wanting to call them when you’re having a moment BUT you don’t because they might be having a GOOD moment simultaneously🥺😩 the stages of grief are CRAZY!!!! The same things that make you laugh in the next NANOsecond you are crying inconsolable from the SAME MEMORY! I was thinking I was going crazy a few times this year because of that exact sentiment but….. GOD 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Moral of the story….. Make sure you value family especially your parents! I had an amazing relationship with Mommykins but I hurt so bad over her loss, I couldn’t even imagine what the pain would be if it were any other way 😔🖤💔💜
