Through Edward Lewis’ Lens: Toronto
What if Edward Lewis, the impeccably dressed NYC businessman from Pretty Woman, had two hours to spare in Toronto? Here’s how I imagine he’d spend them:

Edward Lewis is in Toronto for one meeting and exactly two hours. Officially, it’s business. Unofficially, it’s the perfect excuse for a proper Italian lunch.

He skips Bay Street and heads straight to Yorkville. His clients prefer old money, custom tailoring, and restaurants where the maître d’ remembers their name (great relationships are built over a meal, obviously). So, naturally, that’s where the camera follows.

Golden light spills across the office towers as he wanders past Loro Piana and Dior (impeccable tailoring always), coffee in hand, before settling in for ragù pappardelle, sparkling water, and a bottle of red that really deserved a longer lunch.

The camera only comes out a handful of times, not for the meeting, but for Vivian. She taught him that beautiful places aren’t meant to be rushed through; they’re meant to be noticed (she would adore Holt Renfrew, a one-stop shop).

The deal makes it back to Manhattan by sunset & the photographs make it home to Vivian.

Ralph’s corner shop, in the rain.

I’ve been needing to photograph this neon, and last night’s rain gave me the push. My camera was absolutely drenched, shoutout to weather-rated bodies and lenses.

All photos are straight out of camera, no edits! Straight-up Fujifilm jpg magic. I was using a variation of Shuttergroove’s Lomo ‘92 film simulation recipe, which is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
