Since we started developing @guardiansofseaforest.film in 2024, many different people have crossed paths with this documentary and contributed to the journey in one way or another.

From conversations and ideas to practical help, financial and non-financial support, creative input and time in the field, we are incredibly grateful to everybody who has helped shape this project along the way.

As we have just completed the main part of our production phase, we also want to take a moment to introduce you to the core team of this film.

Each person brought their own expertise, perspective and energy into this project. This team formed such a collaborative, supportive, passionate, caring, and enjoyable environment throughout production. There was always a sense of trust, creativity and shared purpose on set.

We’re grateful to have shared this part of the film’s journey with them. 🩵

@guardiansofseaforest.film began with conversations around access, connection, belonging, representation, and our relationship with the ocean. 🌊

Slowly, this project has grown into something much bigger. And our team has grown too. We are incredibly grateful for the amazing people who have come on board and supported us through the journey of this film so far. Whether through financial support, honest conversations and constructive feedback, sharing their stories with us, or hands-on help and skills to bring this film to life. 🩵

A special thank you to @oceanculturelife for supporting us through their 2026 Storytelling Grants, which allowed us to confidently move into the production phase! 🎥
