Family Weekend 2026 was extra special getting to celebrate with the ones who made us who we are. We loved welcoming our families into a little piece of our Pi Phi home and making memories together all weekend long!

A huge thank you to our VPCR @sisi.reid for putting together such a special weekend, and to @pjbylovepray for the permanent jewelry, @midcityphotobooth for capturing all the fun, and @popupbagels + @taquizasjose for keeping us very well fed!

Already wishing we could do it all over again💌

Shyanne was able to attend a wedding with Carter and his family for a few days in the Temecula wine country recently. Also during the summer they spent a week in Idaho on his grandparents property with his parents and sisters hiking and just enjoying nature. I love how his family has embraced her as one of their own this past year. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl Carter. 😍

Round 3 for Paul and I. I can’t believe our baby had her first high school dance last night. Shyanne drove home to surprise Shaylee and help her get ready.

Labor Day weekend our niece happened to be out for a wedding in Central CA and was able to fly down afterwards to San Diego for a quick visit to stay with Shyanne. We were so happy to get to spend some time with them even though we were in the middle of that crazy hot spell with all that humidity.

When it’s 108’ at home you drive down to the beach where it’s 102’ and enjoy the beach with your daughter who you talked into playing hookie with you from all our responsibilities. Thanks for a wonderful day Shyanne. I luv you 😘

My cousin Heather flew from North Carolina to California yesterday with her kiddos for a visit. Her mom invited the family over so we could all surprise Heather for her birthday. It’s been such a long time since we all have been able to get together like this. I cherish my family and love that our kids whether they are near or far are able to make these memories together. I love each and everyone one of you and am so grateful to call you all my family.
