Hello loyal followers of [at]geniusofevil. (I LOVE MY FRIENDS I LOVE MY FRIENDS). Just thought I’d hop on the gram share some photos of some people I been hanging with lately. I’m a pretty chill dude you know, I’m preeeetty chill about, well, pretty much everything. I’m just sharing some photos of some people I like to hang with and yep nothing much else to it. Hope u guys enjoy the post, I’ve been working on posting some more evil content considering the username [at]geniusofevil. While this post isn’t necessarily evil I don’t want you guys to worry or start ruminating that I may not be as genius or evil as my title suggests. My reputation does not precede me. I’ll be updating you guys with some evil content soon, just laying low at the moment. I’ve got a pretty big surprise some (most) may call evil coming soon. But you know I’m always plotting away on new ways I can be genius and evil. Still on the drawing boards with this next evil project so just bear with me you guys. 🐻 Have an inconvenient rest of the week my friends /j.

I am so grateful for this first year of Dying Dutchman Records. What started out as a crazy idea, grew into a big passion that I am so happy with. If it weren't for @gizzmoix this label would not have existed so I want to thank them in particular. Thank you so much to all the amazing artists for entrusting me with their music and believing in the label for physical releases. Having been able to release music for artists that I had enjoyed so much prior to working with them has been so unreal and I am forever grateful for having had the opportunity to do so. Thank you to all the awesome labels that were open to working on releases (@semicollectiverecs, @gizzmoix, and @hunkofplastic in particular), all collaborations have been so great and each one of the labels is run by amazing people. Thank you to all the people supporting the label by buying releases and by sharing sweet comments. You all are amazing and it's so rewarding seeing people enjoy a product you've put time and love in. To end the year with such an amazing and extensive compilation was something I could only have dreamt of a year ago. Again thank you so much everyone who picked up a tape or digital release for "Under One Roof" to support @weareumaw. @barklate, you have been such an amazing friend in releasing this and I appreciate you a lot for all the work you do. 2024 will be a year of many more Dying Dutchman releases! Enjoy New Year's and once again thank you everyone. Ismaël - Dying Dutchman Records

DDT-23: Sick Leave - Anemoia One of the most promising new acts from 2023 just released their first EP and we are incredibly excited to bring to you this EP by Sick Leave "Anemoia" on cassette tape! Melbourne based artist Sean O'Donoghue started their journey under the moniker "Sick Leave" this year and has kicked off incredibly strong by releasing some amazing songs such as "Us" on their SoundCloud and their single "Visions" which led up to the release of their first EP. The EP combines all the beautiful aspects of lofi indie music into a small package of just 5 songs. Heartfelt vocals, clean guitar riffs, punchy drums, and soothing synths. I cant get enough of these 5 songs, and I am sure you cant either so treat yourself to one extra by getting an additional 6th one that is tape exclusive! The bonus track "Wasting" is one of my favorite tracks and will make you wait for a new Sick Leave release in anticipation. If you liked the release of Stubborn Blood by @poorboyrifle on tape, then you will love this collection of songs just as much! Limited to: /20 pink tapes Pre-orders for the tapes will go up this Friday, November 3rd, at 12PM CET / 7PM EST / 10AM Melbourne time on my store page. @sickleavee #sickleave #tape #cassette #ep #recordlabel #australia #indie #slowcore #slacker #guitar #lofi #indierock #rock #synth #bedroommusic #duster #acoustic #mellow #cassettetape #bandcamp
