🌈🦇 The real goth subculture is historically and traditionally a safe space for the queer community. In fact, quite often the actual venues have been gay spaces that allowed us to waive our goth freak flag where others would judge and exclude us. Furthermore, cultural touchstones of the goth community like fashion, makeup, and dance have been inspired by members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as curated and created by them. You don’t have to be a certain sexuality or have a certain gender identity to be goth or participate in the goth subculture, but you do need to understand and accept that there is a bond between the communities if you’re going to say or do anything about it.

I've always found old cemeteries so fascinating and beautiful. The Hollywood Forever Cemetery is full of so much history. I would love to go back again and spend all day there. I also love that there's a cat sanctuary within the cemetery as well as squirrel houses and the iconic black ducks🥀
